Installation Help |
To start, please connect your iOS device with your computer. Then, sync it with iTunes.
- Please download the Setup File or the ZIP File of the latest application.
- If you download the ZIP file, please unzip the file.
- Run the setup and install the application. Use default settings for installation steps.
(Note: If you see compatibility issues, make sure you have installed the latest .Net Framework on your computer. Please Click Here to download and install the .Net Framework setup from Microsoft site.)
- Once the Smarsh application is installed and started, you will see a Blue Shield Icon in the task bar of your computer. This generally is in the lower right of your computer screen near the date/time).
- Click on Blue Shield Icon to open the application, if it does not open automatically.
- On the Smarsh application screen, you will see at least one device in the left panel under Pending.
- Select the device you want to monitor and click on the Register Device button on right.
- Register your device by filling out your Company Domain Email Address and your Name which are required. After completion, click Register.
- You will receive an email to Activate your mobile device. Go to that email and click on Activate Phone link or copy the link into your web browser (If your browser sends you a message stating you are going to smarsh.mobileguard.com, click Yes or OK). This will activate your new device.
- Congratulations, you have completed the download, installation and activation process for Smarsh’s iPhone application.

- Open the Smarsh application, go to the File menu and choose ‘Use Proxy’.
- Check the box ‘Use Proxy’ to enable Settings.
- Enter appropriate values for Address, Port, User and Password.
- Save the Settings.
